Facebook seems to regret banning two highly popular conservative women from Facebook earlier in April, telling The Daily Caller News Foundation that the message purporting their content is “unsafe” is “inaccurate.”

The dynamic duo, known as Diamond and Silk, are known for creating and publishing videos on multiple social media platforms. The content includes discussions of current events, but often in ways that are either silly or supportive of President Donald Trump. In apparent correlation with Trump’s political success, the two content creators grew wildly popular in recent years, increasing their viewership and followers substantially on Facebook, Twitter and YouTube.

But their account was allegedly being restricted last year around September, and so they started correspondence with the tech giant to see why. Eventually, months later, they received a finalized explanation, which, in their eyes, was a disappointing one.

“The Policy team has came to the conclusion that your content and your brand has been determined unsafe to the community,” a recent message Facebook sent to Diamond and Silk reportedly reads. “This decision is final and it is not appeal-able in anyway.”
