Actor James Woods is calling out Joe Biden on Twitter – claiming that the former Vice President has groped women.
In a tweet on late Tuesday night, Woods shared a photo of Joe Biden grabbing a child’s face, adding the caption: “Hope this guy runs in 2020… #GropingJoe.”
Woods didn’t elaborate or disclose the names of specific women that Biden allegedly groped – but footage of disconcerting behavior, at least, goes back years.
In 2015, an article from now-shuttered news site Gawker wrote an article headlined, “Joe Biden, We Need to Talk About the Way You Touch Women.”
In the article, written while Biden was still Vice President under Barack Obama, shared many photos of Biden awkwardly being handsy with women.
In one photo, he grabs the shoulders of the wife of then-Secretary of Defense Ashton Carter from behind and intimately whispers something in her ear – as her husband gives a speech several feet in front of them.
There’s also a photo of Biden kissing the young daughter of Senator Christopher Coons (D-Del.) on the forehead, massaging a voter’s shoulders as she sits on his lap, and kissing a number of women.
No women have formally come forward publicly to claim that Biden inappropriately touched them – but, given today’s #MeToo climate, it could just be a matter of time before Joe’s past catches up with him.
