Illegal immigration is coming to network TV.

ABC announced this week that it’s developing a new sitcom series, called Sanctuary Family, about a family of illegal immigrants.

According to Deadline, “the comedy revolves around a hard-bitten husband and empathetic wife who butt heads over the chaos created when they provide sanctuary for their undocumented nanny and her family — and come to learn if their marriage survives, that the differences both families have aren’t as significant as their similarities.”

Since President Trump’s election, Hollywood has swung even further to the left. ABC and their parent company Disney have been specifically singled out, however, for relentlessly pushing left-wing political propaganda in their TV programming.

Earlier this year, ABC controversially canceled high-rated sitcom “Last Man Standing,” which centered around a conservative, Trump-supporting father, played by Tim Allen. Allen himself has been an outspoken supporter of Trump and the Republican Party, and compared Hollywood’s censorship of conservative views to “1930s Germany.”

Earlier this week, baseball great Curt Schilling criticized Disney for pushing a “very intolerant, exclusive, liberal, progressive agenda,” after refusing to reprimand an ESPN pundit who called Trump a “white supremacist.”

If shows like Sanctuary Family are any indication, it looks like Hollywood’s lurch to the left isn’t going to be stopping anytime soon.
