Students in one San Diego State University class can earn extra credit points if they take a quiz to determine just how much “white privilege” they have.
Sociology professor Dae Elliott, who “specializes in gender, sexuality, religion, and research methods” at SDSU, offered her students the option to complete her “White Privilege Checklist,” which comprises 20 questions to demonstrate how “racial privilege is one form of privilege,” The College Fix reported.
Those who took the assessment were asked to place a checkmark next to the “privileges that apply” to them.
