Comedian Trevor Noah branded antifa as “vegan ISIS” on Thursday night and denounced the violence employed by its members.
Noah played a video clip of antifa violence on “The Daily Show” and asserted to his viewers, “You see, now here’s the problem.”
“It doesn’t matter what your noble goal may be, it doesn’t matter what you say you’re fighting for,” he said of antifa. “People see that, all they think is, ‘oh shit, it’s vegan ISIS.’”
“You don’t realize, when you think you’re punching Nazis you don’t realize that you’re also punching your cause,” he continued, “because your opponents will just use every violent incidence as a way to discredit your entire movement.”
