Sean Spicer is searching for his own replacement as White House press secretary, according to Politico who cites two people with knowledge of the expected shakeup.
CNN White House correspondent Jim Acosta reports on Twitter that Spicer could move into a new senior role with White House communications, which would open the spot at his podium.

Politico reports that Spicer and Reince Priebus already has reached out to Laura Ingraham of Fox News for press secretary, and Daily Mail editor David Martosko for communications director. The report also says that Deputy press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders has told people close to her that she doesn’t want the press secretary position.
In late May, Michael Dubke resigned as White House communications director after three months on the job. The longtime Republican strategist’s departure left the White House in a position to restructure its communications department, according to the report.
