The privilege-checkers and social justice warriors of the left are constantly on the lookout for signs of racism. One writer at Mic believes he has found the newest symbol of racism in Trump’s America, milk.
Mic’s Jack Smith IV wrote an article calling milk “the new, creamy symbol of racial purity.” This is after a crowd of alleged “white supremacists” were seen drinking milk and partying in front of Shia LaBeouf’s camera installation at the Museum of the Moving Image.

“Some white supremacists think white ethnic identity has a geographic, historical correlation with the body’s tolerance for milk — specifically, the production of the lactase enzyme that allows humans to break down lactose.” wrote Smith. He also cited discussion threads about milk and racial purity from the 4chan discussion board which Smith labeled, “the internet’s hate speech hit factory.” He claims that this theory got a boost from the movie “Inglorious Bastards” when one of the Nazi characters drank milk in the movie.
Smith also discovered another racist codeword, the “vegan agenda.” Judging from the eugenicist rhetoric across online hate speech communities like 4chan and 8chan, it appears that the “vegan agenda” is a potential proxy term for conspiracy theories about a globalist Jewish agenda. But given the sheer mass of alt-right accounts spewing out calls of “Down with the vegan agenda,” it could refer to any number of right-wing targets.” wrote Smith.
Or what’s more likely is this a 4chan prank and Jack Smith IV fell for it like a moron. But that didn’t stop Occupy Democrats, one of the left’s biggest lie factories, from running with the story.
