Lena Dunham, the star of HBO’s show Girls and liberal Hillary Clinton supporter, teamed up with her father to release a new video on social media—calling for “the extinction of white men.”

“Straight white men are a big problem,” explained Dunham’s father, Carroll, in the voiceover on the cartoon video. “But I actually feel pretty good about [the end of white men.]

“Straight white guys have been screwing things up for long enough,” he added.

The video ends with a giant high heel squishing a white man, as Lena Dunham proudly says, “That’s my dad.”

In her tweet promoting the video, Dunham clarified, “It’s not the end of men, it’s the evolution of men into better men.” The video does not elaborate on that point, dealing instead with killing off white men altogether.
This isn’t the first election-year video that got Lena Dunham in trouble.

Back in 2012 when she supported Barack Obama, she was heavily criticized for releasing a video that compared voting to losing her virginity—as part of a campaign-sanctioned effort to turn out the youth vote.

But as off-color as her 2012 video may have been, Dunham seems to have gone even further off the rails, by cheering on the extinction of a whole demographic of people.
