Katy Perry is using Hillary Clinton to throw shade at nemesis Taylor Swift.
After Swift’s representative confirmed to People magazine that the award-winning pop star wrote her then-boyfriend Calvin Harris’s hit “This Is What You Came For,” Harris took to Twitter.
First, he retweeted a link to the People article, adding, “And she sings on a little bit of it too … Amazing lyric writer and she smashed it as usual.”
“Hurtful to me at this point that her and her team would go so far out of their way to try and make ME look bad at this stage though,” he added, in an apparent reference to Swift wanting to remain anonymous on the track.
About two hours later, Perry tweeted without commentary a gif of the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee looking exasperated and shrugging her shoulders.
