On July 11, director and gun control proponent Micheal Moore weighed in on the Dallas police ambush by calling for a ban on “all semi-automatic guns,” “large capacity ammo magazines,” and war.
Regarding war — Moore specifically called for an end to “sending young people to war who come back all messed up.” This appears to be a bait and switch, whereby Micah Xavier Johnson’s attack on Dallas police officers is blamed on military service overseas ratherthan the disdain for whites he himself expressed before being killed by Dallas police.
Moore tweeted: “We must ban all semi-automatic guns & large-capacity ammo magazines-AND we must stop sending young people to war who come back all messed up.”
