This past week, RNC insiders reported that there was a 95 percent chance that Trump will choose Mike Pence as his VP. What’s so great about Pence? He’s a steady social and fiscal conservative with a long record in Washington and a successful term as Indiana Governor. While Pence is considered a vanilla choice, his lowkey demeanor and consistent conservative record might assuage the doubts of those social and fiscal conservatives who believe Trump is an unpredictable wildcard.
