Hadiya Pendleton was an honor student from Chicago that performed at Obama’s inaugeration in 2012, however she was murdered in 2013 by a crazed shooter, involved in gang violence. Pendleton did not have any gang affiliation, however she was murdered in cold blood in a misfire. Although Pendleton honored President Obama at his 2012 inaugeration, he could not honor her at her funeral.
