There are few lawmakers more despised by conservatives than John McCain. McCain is one of the worst examples of the corrupt, greedy, self-serving RINOs that infest the Republican delegation in Congress. He campaigned for reelection on “building the dang fence” but he then pushed for amnesty as part of the “Gang of 8.”
According to a recent poll, Arizona voters appear to be sick of John McCain. The five-term Senator has a 1 point lead over his likely Democrat challenger, Rep. Ann Kirkpatrick.

Election Day isn’t until November, but a new poll appears to show that Sen. John McCain already has some stiff competition in his bid for a sixth Senate term.
According to a Rocky Mountain Poll released Monday from Phoenix-based Behavior Research Center, McCain leads Democratic challenger Rep. Ann Kirkpatrick by just 1 percent, 38 percent to 37 percent.
The poll assumes that McCain and Kirkpatrick will win their primaries later this year and surveys 590 registered Arizona voters. It also has an overall margin of error of plus or minus 4.1 percent.
Kirkpatrick announced her bid for McCain’s seat last May. McCain announced his re-election bid a month earlier.
Who knew that lying to the voters had consequences? If McCain loses in November, in a way Arizona will finally get honest representation. Instead of a “Republican” Senator who votes and acts like a Democrat, Arizona would actually have a Democrat.
McCain should’ve just called a career last year and retired. It looks like Arizona’s voters will make that call for him.
