Former presidential candidate and Pennsylvania Senator Rick Santorum was on “Morning Joe” on Thursday morning. Host Joe Scarborough asked him to name the accomplishments of Marco Rubio, who Santorum just endorsed for president the day before.
Despite repeated questioning by Scarborough, Santorum did not list a single accomplishment in the Senate. The closest Santorum came was saying that Rubio was a former Speaker of the Florida State House. Santorum then said it was an “unfair question” because Congress was gridlocked.
Later on Thursday, the Chris Christie campaign turned that appearance into a TV ad.
But Rubio does have one Senate accomplishment. The problem is that he runs away from it. Here’s a reminder of Rubio’s lone Senate accomplishment.
Choose wisely.
