Iran freed the 10 U.S. Navy Sailors it claimed drifted into Iranian waters early this morning. The story broke just before the State of the Union. President Obama made absolutely no mention of the sailors during his State of the Union address.
After being held for more than 12 hours, Iranian military forces have released 10 U.S. Navy sailors. The sailors were taken captive in the Persian Gulf. Iran claimed their boat had drifted into Iranian controlled waters after breaking down.
In other news, this week, the United States is set to unfreeze 30 billion dollars in Iranian assets as part of the Iran nuclear agreement. What happened yesterday seems to be the opposite of “getting your money’s worth.”
