Biden isn’t exactly enthusiastic about the idea of Hillary Clinton as president.
For one, he refers to as just one of “two good candidates.”
But he also “regrets” not personally entering the race to defeat the women he’s worked with for 23 years, including as a fellow Senator and his White House’s Secretary of State.
In an interview with Connecticut NBC affiliate WVIT, Biden was asked if he regretted not entering the presidential nomination contest as Clinton’s opponent.
“I regret it every day,” Biden.
It’s one thing to be nice and not take sides.
It’s another to publicly declare you wish you had tried to defeat someone expected to be your party’s nominee.
