Because we are living in a time when celebrity and politics are blurring together before our very eyes, radio host Howie Carr asked Donald Trump to comment on what’s happening with Bill Cosby during the taping of his show yesterday.
“You know the big headlines last week about Bill Cosby,” started Carr. “Is there a difference between Bill Cosby and Bill Clinton?”
Trump responded pretty diplomatically, saying, “Well, the Cosby thing is a weird deal and he’s got himself some big problems, and you almost have to ask Bill Clinton that question. It would be a very interesting question to someday ask him.” Then, he added, “Certainly, he has a lot of strong charges against him and it’s pretty bad stuff.”
