Donald Trump took to Twitter to defend his use of the word “schlonged” during a rally in Michigan on Monday to describe Hillary Clinton’s 2008 loss to Barack Obama in the Democratic primary.
“Schlonged is not vulgar,” Trump said, accusing the “MSM,” or the mainstream media, for being “dishonest” after many media outlets condemned his remark for being vulgar while networks including Fox News Tuesday evening bleeped out the word when displaying footage of the rally.
Though “schlonged” is not a word one would find in a dictionary, Trump defended it as a type of slang that “meant beaten badly.”
