Donald Trump said Thursday that “illegal immigrants are treated better in many cases than our veterans.”
Appearing on Fox News’s “Fox & Friends,” Trump said it was “disgraceful” how the veterans are treated by Veterans Affairs: “It’s so bad, it’s so bad, and so said… the veterans are treated so, so horribly”
Trump then criticized Hillary Clinton’s belief that the V.A. is “great” and “how wonderful it is and the wonderful job they’re doing, and it’s overrated, the problems are overrated.”
“You know the illegal immigrants are treated better in many cases than our veterans,” Trump said.
