Taxpayers funded $4.4 million worth of golfing and fundraising trips for President Barack Obama in February and March of this year alone, according to Air Force records.
Obama took four such trips within the two-month period, according to the records obtained through Freedom of Information Act requests by Judicial Watch.
“Taxpayers should be outraged that Barack Obama wastes $4.4 million of their precious tax dollars on golf vacations and political fundraising,” Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton said in a statement.
Fitton’s group was able to calculate the cost of these trips despite the Secret Service’s lack of cooperation and blatant disregard for FOIA requirements.
