Carlo Valdonoci leads a bombing spree that failed, for the most part, he and his gang of anarchists mailed several bombs to a variety of politicians, media figures, and businessmen. Among these were John D. Rockefeller, JP Morgan Jr, and Attorney General Alexander Mitchell Palmer. Only a few of the bombs went off, most were never sent due to insufficient postage, even the bombs that went off failed to kill anyone.
After the initial mail-bombing campaign, the terror group attempted to bomb the houses of the same prominent figures. Then-Attorney General Palmer retaliated by having over 10,000 suspected terrorists arrested and over 500 of them were eventually deported on a variety of charges.
