Another squeamish moment for the 77-year-old Biden came when moderators asked the former vice president about the #MeToo movement.
Here’s a part of his answer:
“The fact is that what happens now is that we, in fact, have to fundamentally change the culture, the culture of how women are treated … No man has a right to raise a hand to a woman in anger, other than in self-defense, and that’s — rarely ever occurs and so we have to just change the culture, period, and keep punching at it and punching at it and punching at it. It will be a big — no, I really mean it.” [emphasis added]
