California is subject to massive amounts of crime, some crimes are worse than others but the fact that no one is going to jail over these crimes is only encouraging the criminals to do worse. It was reported a few days ago that restaurants in the Bay Area are shutting down due to this crime, vandalism and break-ins have forced them to close their doors forever. With the closure of all these businesses many will have to turn to crime in order to stay afloat, this is a problem that is only going to get worse.
