In 2014, Ukraine’s president went before Congress and pled for lethal weapons – not blankets – to fight Russia.

Democrats and their media enablers eagerly piled on the fact that the Trump White House held up military aid to Ukraine.
Surprising no one, they ignore the facts that Ukraine did not know about this temporary hold up at the time of the now-famous July 25 phone call and that both Trump and Zelensky have said there was no quid pro quo on said call.
Also unsurprisingly, they ignore that Zelensky’s predecessor, Petro Poroshenko, came to America to request U.S. military aid – a request denied by the Obama administration.
Instead of tank-busting Javelin missiles, Ukraine got old hummers and a field hospital. We all know how that turned out.
Thanks, Obama.
