Prior to becoming a Member of Congress, Maloney served on the New York City Council. She first ran for Congress in 1992 and was successful in her quest to represent New York’s 14th District.
After 25 years and two rounds of redistricting, Maloney currently represents New York’s 12th District (Manhattan’s Upper East Side and parts of Brooklyn and Queens).
Her district also includes President Trump’s primary private residence at Trump Tower.
