Brown University had a memo that was so convincing that it could have been used as a movie prop. The text read:
“The main conclusion fo the meeting was that a global deterioration of climate, by order of magnitude larger than any hitherto experienced by civilized mankind, is a very real possibility and indeed may be due very soon”
This turned out once again to be wrong. The prediction, which was supposedly supposed to come soon, was made in 1972. It has been 47 years, it’s not going to happen.
