President Trump held a rally yesterday in the beautiful state of New Mexico. The rally in Rio Rancho, a Republican-leaning suburb of Albuquerque, was a smashing success attended by thousands.
It is possible that the state could go red next year but Trump will have to be judicious in his campaigning, after losing there by eight points in 2016. But some already state positive economic growth, credited to the booming oil and gas sector and Trump’s populist appeal to win over Latino voters could pay dividends next year.
