Stacey Plaskett, the delegate from the U.S. Virgin Islands’ at-large congressional district, initially refused to return the $8,100 she has received from Epstein since 2016.
Plaskett’s district includes Epstein’s private island.
The money she accepted from Epstein came after he registered as a sex offender.
Plaskett reversed course today deciding “to make contributions to Virgin Islands organizations that work with women and children in the amount of [Epstein’s] previous contributions.”
