When The New York Times released its piece about the supposedly far-right on YouTube, they listed a wide variety of people in their headline picture. This picture included a small photo of Milton Freedmen, the famous libertarian economist.
It also included a photo of left-wing YouTuber, Philip Defranco, a commentator who is widely considered progressive.
The newspaper’s images would suggest these two are far-right, a term that for the mainstream media is synonymous with alt-right.
