Ilhan Omar compared the US military to both Hezbollah and al Qaeda. She began her remarks by imitating a college professor that would say Hezbollah and al Qaeda with an emphasis and went on to point out the same emphasis wasn’t added when he, and others, refer to America and its allies. Many interpreted these remarks as comparing the U.S. Army and other forces for good to terrorist organizations.
The reality is that Islamist terror groups kill civilians without hesitation or remorse to spread their extreme ideology.
