The DOJ has been asked to look into Avenatti recently by none other than Senate Judiciary Chairman Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa).
The DOJ would primarily look into the Julie Swetnick accusations as they were highly suspicious, ever-evolving, and evidence suggests, provably false.
Making false allegations is a crime and would imperil Avenatti’s future.
