The online messaging board 4-chan.org may have had Avenatti on the ropes.
The – yet unsubstantiated – story goes that an anonymous user tricked Avenatti into thinking that his girlfriend was a Brett Kavanaugh victim.
Always hungry for publicity, Avenatti offered her money and a GoFundMe account if she were to go on CNN with him.
This is where the prank allegedly ended, and the phone was reportedly destroyed.
It’s a shame we will never find out if it is 100 percent true or not because of mystery surrounding the anonymous post. We do know that after this came out, Avenatti switched his Twitter account to private.
