California has a whole host of problems. Unfortunately, the state government routinely chooses to deal with the ones that aren’t all that important. Recently, multiple cities in the Golden State have taken the initiative to combat climate change by banning plastic straws, too bad no one told them that America has an insignificant impact on global pollution. This virtue-signaling stunt did have at least one unintended consequence – it hurt disabled people by making it harder for them to enjoy tasty beverages. All this straw nonsense has made us think about California’s myriad other problems, here are seven (just for starters) more important than plastic straws!
