The Mayor of Cincinnati threw (we use that term loosely) the ceremonial first pitch for the Cincinnati Reds on Opening Day 2007. Despite claims he had practiced with a local universities’ baseball team, the infamous throw missed its target by several yards. An umpire was so disgusted by the 45-year-old’s inability to hurl a Little League-caliber fastball he mock-ejected the mayor.
