At 28, Elizabeth Halseth was the youngest woman ever elected to the Nevada Legislature. Unfortunately, she felt compelled to resign for the sake of her constituents in the midst of an emotionally trying divorce and raising her child. Halseth, now Elizabeth Heligelien after remarrying, is poised to run for the Nevada State Senate in 2018.
