CNN downplayed a series of death threats that they started. A CNN analyst started the hashtag “MassacreMoscowMitch” and these carried onto the web and lead to many liberals calling for the death of Mitch McConnell via Twitter and other social media. The network pretended that this was not a big deal and that only one or two people used the hashtag this way while doing this they had the author of the tweet remove it and pretend as if it never happened.
