On the 14th, despite numerous leaks to the press coming from within the State Department about the terror attack being planned ahead of time, the Obama administration continued to claim that the assault was an escalation from a protest in response to an anti-Muslim video posted online.
The following day Libya’s president announced that militants had planned the attack months in advance.
That didn’t stop Susan Rice, former U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations, from contradicting the Libyan president by continuing to push the story the Obama administration constructed.
