MSNBC is still jumping to the defense of Hillary Clinton—cutting off audio to Senator Lindsey Graham (R-SC) when he started to bring up the Clinton campaign’s collusion with foreign governments.

Graham, who has butted heads with President Trump in the past, gave a measured explanation of his thoughts about Donald Trump Jr.’s meeting with Russian lawyer Natalia Veselnitskaya.

“Okay, so anytime you’re in a campaign and you get offered from a foreign government to help your campaign, the answer is no,” Graham said to reporters on Capitol Hill.

“[Trump Jr.] definitely has to testify, that e-mail was disturbing. But what is equally odd to me is that the person they met with knew absolutely nothing so I don’t know why they would pick somebody for him to meet with that didn’t have any information about the Clinton campaign, but on it’s face this is very problematic.”

“We cannot allow foreign governments to reach out to anyone’s campaign and say we’d like to help you; that’s a non starter,” he added. “It’s very frustrating for, every couple of weeks, to find out about a new meeting. I’m sure they met with a lot of people during the campaign. I’m sure the Clinton campaign met with—”

MSNBC abruptly cut Graham’s audio while he was still talking, while awkwardly keeping the camera still focused on Graham’s face for four seconds.

It’s unclear how Graham intended to end his sentence, but he likely could have been mentioning the fact that Hillary Clinton’s campaign staff met with officials also met with foreign officials in the name of opposition research: key aides met with the Ukrainian government in a push to dig up dirt on Trump.

Regardless, it’s clear that MSNBC would rather push a double standard rather than let its viewers know about similar faux-“collusion” from the Clinton campaign.
