Stanford professor Paul Ehrlich predicted the great famine of 1975 would wipe out most of the global population. Ehrlich believed it would be caused by our irresponsibility and the shifting climate. Like virtually all climate change claims it was brutally wrong. There were no mass famines caused by climate change in 1975.
