Pro-abortion feminists staged a violent, topless protest on Sunday in front of a Catholic church—calling for the legalization of taxpayer-funded abortions and prostitution.
The aptly named “Boob Protest” took place in the city of Resistencia, Argentina. According to authorities, the protesters damaged several buildings, most prominently the Cathedral of Resistencia. They vandalized property with graffiti—leaving behind messages such as “Death to the Pope.”
They were heard chanting phrases like, “To the Catholic, apostolic, Roman Church, that wants to place itself in our bed, we say that we want to be whores, transvestites, and lesbians. Legal abortion in any place,” and, “If the pope were a woman, abortion would be the [sic] law.”
Amidst the chaos, protesters were caught throwing a wide array of projectiles: rocks, bottles, tampons, balloons with paint, feces, and Molotov cocktails.
The violence comes as predominately-Catholic Argentina weighs a bill that would legalize abortion-on-demand.
