Mika Brzezinski and increasingly out of touch Joe Scarborough, the duo behind MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” agreed with Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi’s shameless defense of embattled Representative John Conyers (D-Mich.) (RELATED: NBC Asks Pelosi If Perv Dem Should Resign – Her Response Is APPALLING).
Mika reiterated Pelosi’s claims for due process and revealed her bias saying that authorities should treat every accusation differently and even woefully exclaiming, “This one breaks my heart, it really does.”
Scarborough lamented that the term ‘due process’ infuriated some people. While Brzezinski repeatedly thanked the minority leader.
Conyers, an 88-year-old incumbent member of Congress, was outed last week for using taxpayer dollars to settle sexual harassment claims. He remains defiant in the face of further allegations of sexual misconduct and only begrudgingly stepped down as the ranking Democrat on the Judiciary Committee.
On Sunday, Nancy Pelosi – the first female Speaker in our history – openly dismissed Conyers’ accusers on “Meet The Press.”
In fairness, some liberals expressed outrage at the congressman’s abuses of power and predatory behavior:
Democrats have lost the thread on sexual harassment.
You can debate Franken as being a marginal case, I guess.
But the Conyers claims represent a serious abuse of power—one that required a legal settlement—and Pelosi doesn’t see them as a firing offense. https://t.co/10Km2FQisA

The most absurd part of Pelosi’s statement is “I believe he understands what is at stake here and he will do the right thing.” It’s not up to Conyers to decide what’s right. Also, he’s widely reputed to be losing his mental faculties. https://t.co/tVkgJSH64V

Of course, with the most well-known Democrats and media sycophants on Conyers’ side – he’s got powerful enablers.
