A nurse at one of the country’s most extensive hospital systems has been canned – after going on an unhinged, racist Twitter rant, where she threatened to “sacrifice” white babies “to the wolves.”
On Friday, Tayeisha Baker, who was a nurse at Indiana University Health, logged onto Twitter and started threating white people.
“Every white woman raises a detriment to society when they raise a son. Someone with the HIGHEST propensity to be a terrorist, rapist, racist, killer, and domestic violence all star. Historically every son you had should be sacrificed to the wolves b****,” she wrote.
Adding a chilling aspect to her warning, Baker claimed to work as a pediatric nurse – meaning she was helping care for babies who she deemed to be future racists, rapists, and killers. She received her nursing license less than a month ago.
On Saturday afternoon, Baker’s employer released a statement stating that they were investigating Baker as a consequence of her offensive tweets.
They wrote: “IU Health is aware of several troubling posts on social media which appear to be from a recently hired IU Health employee. Our HR department continues to investigate the situation and the authenticity of the posts. During the investigation, that employee (who does not work at Riley Hospital for Children) will have no access to patient care.”
Their investigation was short-lived: by Sunday, they had fired her, with IU Health confirming to the media that Baker “is no longer an employee” of the hospital system.
