The deputy chair of the Democratic National Committee came out in support of left-wing domestic terror group, Antifa.
Rep. Keith Ellison, D-Minnesota, posted a photo of himself on his Twitter account, holding up a copy of the book “Antifa: The Anti-Fascist Handbook” at a Minneapolis book shop.
Ellison captioned that the book will “strike fear into the heart” of President Donald Trump.
Antifa has caused mayhem nationwide following Trump’s inauguration in January – starting with violent riots that shocked the nation’s capital just hours after Trump took the oath of office. They were also responsible for violent clashes on college campuses, such as the University of California, Berkeley, where they attempted to shut down conservative speakers.
Getting the support of Ellison – the second-in-command of the national Democratic Party – is a watershed moment for Antifa. And it speaks volumes about how the Democrats are slowly beginning to embrace the anarchistic far-left.
