In a move sure to surprise the liberal media, Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni applauded President Trump for his frankness in addressing the crises facing the African continent.
The BBC reported on the African leader’s remarks at the opening of the East African Community’s legislative assembly:
“America has got one of the best presidents ever,” Mr Museveni said to laughter during the opening of the East African Legislative Assembly (EALA) in the Ugandan capital of Kampala.
Mr Museveni’s defense of the US president came just hours after the US ambassador to Uganda criticised Mr Trump.
