UPDATE: Wednesday’s article on high-profile FBI screwups didn’t include the Bureau’s most recent blunder: the Stoneman Douglas High School Shooting.

On Valentine’s Day afternoon, a mass shooting occurred at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida, a suburb of Miami.

The perpetrator, 19-year-old Nikolas Jacob Cruz, murdered 17 people – enabled by a cowardly armed school resource officer, a local sheriff’s department who knew Cruz was a clear danger yet did nothing, and FBI agents notified by concerned citizens beforehand but unwilling to follow-up.

PLEASE SHARE THIS LIST WITH YOUR FRIENDS, and see the full details on how gross negligence emboldened a school shooter in the making.

We at AAN have nothing but the utmost respect for law enforcement. Officers who serve on the thin blue line stand as a bulwark between order and anarchy. That said, human beings are fallible. We would be derelict in our duty to ignore cases where the FBI’s leadership failed to investigate credible threats and stop mass killers.

This list will shock you. It is a reminder that eternal vigilance and objectivity are prerequisites every law enforcement officer must have at all times. It also reinforces the argument that bias – including the malicious political bias we’ve seen from specific agents in the so-called Trump-Russia probe can have disastrous consequences.

As a bonus, we included a criminal mastermind at the end, whose overwhelming success shows the catastrophic impact a rush to judgment and outrageous arrogance has on good, old-fashioned police work.
