Her shift from political appointee to cable news pundit reflects the balance Fox is trying to achieve; remember, George Stephanopoulos was one of Bill Clinton’s attack dogs and ABC tries to pass him off as an objective journalist. Perino’s thoughtful commentary on Fox began in 2009, and she’s still going strong as one of its leading ladies.
