The Manhattan District Attorney’s office and NYPD are preparing to charge ‘Handsy’ Harvey Weinstein with a sex crime.
The disgraced Democratic megadonor, Clinton confidant, and legendary Hollywood producer will surrender to authorities tomorrow, AAN has learned.
Law enforcement says that at least one woman is the alleged victim – Lucia Evans. She says Weinstein forced her to perform fellatio on him in 2004.
Evans is one of dozens of women who have come forward with allegations of sexual assault. So far, this is the furthest any of the cases against Weinstein have come. Because of the nature of her claims, the statue of limitations does not apply.
Meanwhile, prosecutors continue to review other accusations.
