The infamous liberal rag, The Guardian, attempted to sway a swing county in Ohio back in October 2004. They made so many Clark County residents mad, that “Operation Clark County,” the newspaper’s ambitious scheme to recruit thousands of readers to persuade American voters to vote out President George W. Bush the following month was quickly called off. Their London headquarters received 14,000 angry letters that read like this one:
“Consider this: stay out of American electoral politics. Unless you would like a company of US Navy Seals – Republican to a man – to descend upon the offices of the Guardian, bag the lot of you, and transport you to Guantanamo Bay, where you can share quarters with some lonely Taliban shepherd boys.”
