Maher wasn’t fired after casually saying the N-word in a (very) poor attempt at humor on his show. Imagine, even for the moment, if a conservative media figure had made that joke. They would be living in a box under an underpass, because nobody would let them work again. Maybe Roseanne should head over to HBO?
