First Lady Melania Trump made another visit to an immigration detention center yesterday to comfort children temporarily detained for processing after their parents illegally crossed the southern border.
Unfortunately, her act of kindness was met with fierce protest. (Daily Wire)

According to The Hill, “a group of protesters waited for the first lady to arrive at the facility with a balloon depicting President Trump in a Ku Klux Klan outfit across the street from the Southwest Key migrant holding facility.”
The Southwest Key is a nonprofit that operates 26 immigrant shelters for children in Texas, Arizona, and California. Melania Trump had visited the Tuscon shelter earlier this week before heading over to the Phoenix shelter on Thursday.
Protestors were apparently triggered by reports from the mainstream media that President Trump had put in place the policy separating illegal immigrant families. According to NBC News, the policy began under former president Barack Obama in October 2016.
President Trump recently signed an executive order allowing children to be detained alongside their parents.
